Christmas gifts from Historics and CCA
Historics and CCA auctions held in the last week of September were successful with similar numbers, as both auction houses utilized a mix of cheap and top-end cars. Historics offered 152 cars, selling 115, with a total estimated value of ÂŁ4,787,000, while CCA sold 91 cars out of 129 offered with a total estimated value of ÂŁ1,902,500. Lamborghinis were the top lots at both auctions, with Historics selling the Countach 5000 S for ÂŁ257,600, far higher than its estimate. Triumph was also the wild card of the market, with all 13 offered Triumphs selling, and seven sold above their maximum estimate.

The only lot without wheels leads the way at RM Sotheby’s in St. Moritz
