Automobiles, culture, art: a world that defines a lifestyle capable of connecting the very best of past and present with the tastes and trends of new generations. This is the essence of the mission behind the Sotheby’s Collectors' Week, taking place in Abu Dhabi from 2 to 5 December at the majestic St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, organized by Sotheby’s and its shareholder, represented by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.
Roarington, one of the event’s protagonists, shares exactly the same mission: to promote collecting and automotive culture, celebrating its pleasures within a lifestyle context where everything that inspires us, can speak of the past and present in the language and style of the new generations.
Sotheby’s invitation to Roarington to take part in this major event perfectly aligns with the themes at the heart of the The Classic Car Trust Forum, scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, 3 December, dedicated to “The Future of Collectibles”. The forum, focused on defining the future of classic cars and collectible objects, coherently develops the founding concepts of the entire event.
Throughout the various days, a select audience will attend a series of engaging talks dedicated to McLaren, Pirelli, Colnago, the art of Rembrandt and Picasso, the world of artist jewelry, automotive, watch and luxury design, a tribute to the unforgettable Jane Birkin, and featuring the presence of His Highness Sheikh Zayed, a debate on the future of art collecting.
Within this prestigious context, the forum organized by The Classic Car Trust holds particular significance, as it is inspired by the concept “__Roarington. Where Heritage Meets Innovation__”. Roarington is a cultural and technological platform that bridges past and future, connecting iconic brands, institutions, and communities through immersive, collectible, and participatory experiences. Rooted in automotive culture, art, and lifestyle, Roarington brings these worlds to life across both digital and physical spaces, creating new ways for people to engage, express themselves, and feel part of a community.
The discussion, presented and moderated by Fritz Kaiser, Founder and Chairman of The Classic Car Trust and Roarington, will feature leading figures including:
• Marcus Breitschwerdt, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Heritage
• Benedetto Camerana, President of MAUTO – The Italian National Automobile Museum
• Prof. Markus Gross, Chief Scientist at The Walt Disney Company
• Josh Pullan, Global Head of Sotheby’s Luxury
• Mohamed Ali AlKamali, Chief Trade & Industry Officer, Abu Dhabi Investment Office
Among the topics to be discussed: • Preview of the evolution of the Roarington Dreamland ecosystem • Preview of the Mercedes-Benz Digital Museum • Preview Roarington Art Center, featuring a show by Matt Mullican • Mille Miglia Digital Experience
The TCCT Forum is an exclusive, invitation-only gathering that brings together collectors, industry leaders, and experts with the goal of shaping the future of classic cars and the culture of collecting.
