When you have the pride of a great, coherent, strong, and victorious history like that of Mercedes-Benz, it is only right and logical to say that Heritage creates the Future. This concept is not just words, it is made of tangible facts, embodied by the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, home to 160 perfectly preserved models and an extraordinary archive documenting their characteristics and roles in history. And when there is also the Mercedes-Benz Heritage Department, which under the guidance of its CEO Marcus Breitschwerdt skillfully promotes the treasures of the past while looking toward the future with dynamic clarity. And when, finally, 123 years and 300 days after the presentation of the Mercedes 35 CV, an agreement is signed with Roarington to open a new, forward-looking digital showcase that brings together classic cars, art, culture, and luxury, designed to reach millions of people who will be able to discover the greatness of Mercedes. Then it becomes clear why such a remarkable legacy, as safeguarded by Mercedes-Benz Heritage, is an inspiring certainty. The Mercedes-Benz Museum will soon be visitable on Roarington.com in a digital version, featuring Digital Twins of real vehicles that can actually be driven.

Marcus Breitschwerdt is clear in his intentions: “To make the history of Mercedes accessible to millions of people, Roarington is the ideal platform. In a refined and passionate setting, being able to race digital twins of the Museum’s “Silver Arrows” alongside Caracciola and Fangio, to feel the thrill of driving even the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut, the car that sold at auction for around €130 million, and to bring together digitalized models from around the world for unique exhibitions, is truly extraordinary. And then there’s the possibility of creating a community, a club where communication and experiences meet. A universe where, why not, one day even real cars might be sold.”

We can say that the Star shines in the sky of Roarington, a brand registered in 1909 and completed in 1925 with the laurel wreaths, symbols of countless victories. A brand that has never ceased to challenge itself on the racetrack, designing cars meant to win and destined to make history. Now, that same history of Mercedes-Benz Heritage, of the Stuttgart Museum, and today, of the important chapter that Mercedes-Benz Heritage will bring to Roarington will be shared with the entire world to enjoy.
