Future Events: What to Know and Where to Go in September 2024

For those who missed Monterey Week, September is the perfect time to step back into the limelight, even as a spectator. There's something for everyone, from racetracks to elegance contests. After the celebration at The Peninsula in London, where the 2023 Best of the Best is awarded, the month kicks off with a bang from September 6 to 8 with the Goodwood Revival, the final event of the year following the Members Meeting and the Festival of Speed. This is a must-see event, a dive into the past with drivers, mechanics, and spectators dressed in '50s, '60s, and '70s attire, recreating the authentic atmosphere of classic car races. The 2024 edition of this event is forward-looking: it will be the first to require all participating historic cars to use a minimum of 70% sustainable fuel.
From September 12 to 15, the seventh edition of Chantilly Arts & Elegance will take place at the splendid castle just outside Paris. This event is unique in awarding two Best of Show titles, one for pre-war cars and another for post-war vehicles. Besides the car displays, there will also be dynamic Rallye and Tour events, offering the chance to listen to and be thrilled by the engines' sounds.
From September 19 to 22, Mantua will host a spectacular event: the Gran Premio Nuvolari, held in the lands where the legendary "Nivola" was born and lived. Recently honored by FIVA with an award given annually to the ten best historic automotive events worldwide, the Gran Premio Nuvolari is set to welcome 300 teams from all over the world for four days of tests and driving across Northern and Central Italy.
As usual, the last days of September will see St. Moritz come alive for the Automobile Week from September 25 to 29, featuring exciting events.
