Future events: What to Know and Where to Go in July 2024

Finally summer! Rising temperatures warm the hearts of classic car enthusiasts that are ready to experience the upcoming July events that promise to be truly unforgettable. The month opened with the Poltu Quatu Classic, an elegance competition that has become a staple on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, just a stone's throw from Porto Cervo, showcasing 50 cars at the Grand Hotel for a unique spectacle.

Mark your calendars for July 11th to 14th, when the Festival of Speed takes place at Goodwood. As every year, it promises the presence of cars and drivers from all eras, including the debut of Max Verstappen in the RB16B that secured his first Formula 1 World Championship title in 2021, celebrating Red Bull Racing's 20th anniversary. The magnificent estate of Charles Gordon Lennox, the 11th Duke of Richmond, known to many as Lord March, will come alive with hill climbs featuring iconic motorsport models and the Cartier Style et Luxe elegance competition divided into seven classes.

From July 18th to 20th, the 32nd edition of the Ennstal Classic will take place in Austria. Covering 900 kilometers with 50 thrilling special stages through roads and mountain passes, including two races at an airfield and 5 laps on the Red Bull Ring circuit in Spielberg.

The following week, from July 22nd to 27th, the Concours d'Elegance will take place at Lake Tegernsee in Germany. Similar to Hampton Court Palace, the winner is not chosen by a jury but by the owners of the registered cars. Each of the 200 participants votes for the other exhibited models to decide the "Best of Show."

The month concludes on July 27th and 28th with the Alfa Revival Cup at the Umbria circuit in Magione, featuring cars from the Biscione produced from 1947 to 1981 racing on the track. A perfect idea for a weekend exploring central Italy and Umbria with the splendid city of Perugia and its cuisine.
