Buyers? Always present! And a lot to learn
Bonhams and Historics held simultaneous auctions on the same day in July, offering similar lots of vehicles, with the venues just 50 miles apart. Bonhams MPH was based in Bicester, while Historics held its auction in Windsorview Lakes. Bonhams sold 79 of the 115 lots on offer, with sales of £1,590,808 ($2.2m), while Historics sold 126 of its 184 lots, with takings of £3,199,415 ($4.4m).
