How can one choose the pinnacle of excellence when sixty extraordinary automobiles from every era are showcased in the stunning setting of Villa d’Este? It’s hard to say whether it was by chance or by design. What’s certain is that the 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 bearing the Prancing Horse emblem and the Alfa Romeo 8C DoppiaCoda Zagato share a profound connection: the former, conceived with an emphasis on lightness and aerodynamics, was bodied by Zagato, just like the seductive 8C DoppiaCoda Zagato—designed and crafted by Zagato—which was chosen by the public and experts alike to win the Concorso d'Eleganza Design Award in the Concept Cars & Prototypes category. Both cars were envisioned and built in the Atelier of the renowned Milanese coachbuilder.
