It’s no surprise that a brand like Mercedes-Benz, with over a century of innovation, aligns itself with forward-looking ventures. On Thursday, October 17, following the 2024 TCCT Forum, Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH announced a partnership with Roarington AG to bring the world’s oldest luxury car brand into Roarington‘s digital realm.
This collaboration will result in a digital twin of the iconic Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, which has welcomed 13 million visitors since its opening in 2006.
The new partnership aims to create a virtual gathering space for the global classic car community, enabling enthusiasts to explore the marvels of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Through Roarington, users will be able to experience these iconic cars in exceptional detail, opening doors to view interiors identical to the originals and even taking these classics for virtual drives on roads or racetracks across eras.
At the Mercedes-Benz Classic Exhibition in Roarington, you’ll encounter 3D models crafted through precision scanning of vehicles displayed at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. This preview includes the 300 SL Gullwing number 417, winner of the 1955 Mille Miglia in the GT class; the racing version of the 300 SL Roadster; the 230 SL Pagoda; and the 1902 Simplex, one of Mercedes’ first mass-produced cars and an extraordinary success for its time. This is just the beginning; in the future, you’ll even have the chance to get behind the wheel of such masterpieces.
As we launch these models in Roarington, you’ll receive a special invitation to explore them firsthand. It won’t be long — stay tuned!
