With the establishment in 2012 of the dedicated company that organizes this major annual reenactment event, the issue of the spelling was resolved: 1000 Miglia Srl chose the numbers with the right intention of making the message immediately understandable in any language: 1000 is a thousand everywhere. Participants come from all over the world, undaunted by the fear of losing the common thread that will bring them back to Brescia. But while many travel to Italy for the race, even more, thanks to Roarington and its simulators, can now experience the thrill of racing and navigating a series of time controls during a special stage, set against a Tuscan landscape. In addition to driving and adhering to the time limits, the race also features numerous special stages that feature, in sequence, interconnected stretches of road that must be traveled at different speeds, scrupulously adhering to the prescribed times. Complicating matters further is the prohibition on stopping in the last few dozen meters between the time control line and the race.
