The Key is known for presenting original and unique stories. This new issue features two very interesting stories that show how the passion for collecting is exploring new avenues. The protagonists of these two highly successful experiments are two Italians who live in very different regions, but both equally important in the geography of the ‘Bel Paese’: in Origgio, in the greater Milan area, towards Switzerland and Malpensa airport, Paolo Milini has combined the cars in his beautiful collection with the works of great artists created by his father, presenting them together in a magnificent structure that also houses an excellent and sought-after restaurant. Its name is Olio, that of engines and that of cuisine (different, of course!). Paolo presents a concept that goes beyond a museum visit and becomes a pleasant meeting place, a sort of open club where cars and art are accompanied by excellent wines and food.
In the renowned Forte dei Marmi, a seaside resort near Pisa in Tuscany, you should visit La Canniccia. What is it? Romano Bindi, also very young, has transformed what was once the most famous nightclub in Versilia into a meeting place for enthusiasts and their cars. The new facility, in addition to displaying some of the cars from the family collection, offers an authentic track where you can drive and even have the support of an instructor to ensure the necessary safety. Here, too, there is an excellent restaurant and the pleasure of being able to bring your own car and display it alongside the attractions of a world on holiday.
Young people look ahead and come up with ideas. Like The Key, to have, know and read.
