After years of gatherings and events that have attracted a new generation of enthusiasts, HEIZR is entering a new phase of its growth with its first official track event: HEIZR Racing Dept., scheduled for July 4 at the Hockenheimring. Founded in Germany in 2021, it has established itself as one of the most interesting communities on the European automotive scene thanks to a formula that puts people, classic cars and, above all, youngtimers at its core, with a fresh approach that breaks away from the more traditional conventions of car collecting.
The Hockenheim event represents a true evolution of the format: not only displays and community activities, but also track sessions and show runs featuring vehicles that are normally housed in museums or private collections. More than 600 cars are expected in the paddock, while over 150 vehicles will take to the track throughout the day.
Among the highlights will be the presence of Mercedes-Benz Heritage, showcasing some of the brand's most iconic touring car legends, including the 190E Evo II and other vehicles that helped shape Mercedes-Benz motorsport history. To complement the display, Mercedes-Benz Heritage will also bring its Classic Racing Simulator, developed in partnership with Roarington. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II on a specially prepared digital version of the Hockenheimring created for the event. Combining an iconic touring car with one of Germany's most celebrated racing venues, the simulator offers enthusiasts a rare opportunity to take the driver's seat and experience a chapter of Mercedes-Benz racing history firsthand.
