The case of Historics and its team of proven experience and quality, which organised – months in advance and with the utmost precision – a sale at Windsorview Lake on 18 July, confirms as much: on that very same day, the World Cup fixture schedule placed the auction in direct competition with the third-place playoff between England and France.
