It is all new, and yet it feels as though it has always existed. On Wednesday 8 July, RM Sotheby’s held an auction at Woodcote Park, a grand estate in south London – timed to coincide with the Royal Automobile Club Concours, of which the auction house is the principal sponsor. A young concours, in only its second year, and a first edition for RM Sotheby’s.
