Bonhams in Monaco: the Books Balance. Race Cars or Not

Bonham’s choice to hold the 2026 sale at the magnificent Fairmont Hotel Monte Carlo, on the occasion of the Monaco Historic GP, proved a happy one. The numbers speak for themselves: the previous edition had more cars (50 vs 43), more lots without reserve (19 vs 10) and a higher estimated value (€15,505,000 vs €15,070,000). Yet this edition saw more cars sold (32 vs 30) and almost twice the hammered total (€9,659,375 vs €5,720,418).
