St. Moritz in Racing Mode: The Inaugural Bernina Gran Turismo Virtuale

Bright sunshine, an alpine backdrop, and pure racing fever in the heart of St. Moritz: for two days, the Bernina Gran Turismo Virtuale transformed the village square into a stage for classic motorsport and cutting-edge technology. More than 250 participants – from international visitors to local residents – took the chance to drive the legendary route from La Rösa to the Bernina Pass summit themselves, using Roarington’s Classic Driving Simulators.
Roarington, a long-standing partner of the Bernina Gran Turismo and the organizer of this new format, brought the iconic hill climb into the digital world with its high-end simulators and self-developed Digital Twins of classic vehicles. For the very first time, the fascination of this historic race became directly accessible to a wider audience – right in the center of St. Moritz.
