In the large pre-race scrutineering pavilion of the 1000 Miglia in Brescia, where competitors are accredited in an atmosphere electrified by the anticipation of the race and where hospitality stands offer experiences on the theme of the famous race - all eyes were on Roarington. The reason was the presentation of the 1000 Miglia special stages simulation driving its Zagato and Pininfarina simulators. There were no less than four available to competitors and journalists: one in the Mercedes-Benz Classic hospitality area, in the same colour and with the same number, 417, as the 300 SL that won the Grand Touring Category on its debut in 1955.
