On the last weekend of June, France was hit by record-breaking heat, and perhaps due to most of the cars being displayed outdoors (not easy to inspect an engine at 42°C!), the result was disappointing. The number of cars offered dropped from 98 in 2024 to 88, and the sale rate collapsed from over 67% in 2024 to just 43.18% — that’s 38 cars sold, far from the 66 sold last year. Cars with no reserve helped cushion the blow: if we consider only the cars with reserve prices, the success rate would drop to a mere 25%.
