Artcurial Auction at the Château de Vernon: An Excellent Harvest

Tell me if there is anything more French than a Facel-Vega in front of a château. The cover of the Artcurial catalogue had precisely this purpose: organised at the Château de Vernon on 28 September, its aim was to sell the museum's collection plus other cars from various sources. A total of 87 cars were offered, almost all (81, or 93.10%) without reserve. It was easy to predict success with 85 cars offered and 85 sold.
