Today we continue our exploration of the fascinating world of affordable GT cars. After the elegant ladies of the 1960s and the charming youngtimers of the 1980s and 1990s, we arrive at the latest “analogue” generation: the Gran Turismo and coupés of the 1990s and 2000s, built when driving pleasure was still at the heart of the design and technology was excellent. We are talking about the cars that accompanied the adolescence of many enthusiasts who are now adults: sharp designs, naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines full of character, and a perfect balance between comfort and excitement. Cars that today cost less than a new city car, but which have all the potential to increase in value over time, something that does not happen with new city cars, whose used price is destined to fall.
