Car collecting stems from different passions: there are those who seek out the cars they used to look at on posters as teenagers, so they can feel like kids again every time they turn the key, and those who collect to relive the spirit of races of yesteryear. For those who feel this calling, few experiences can recreate that atmosphere as well as the 1000 Miglia. A true adventure across Italy through the night, dust, petrol and courage, capable of arousing unique emotions.
The race, which began in 1927 as a speed challenge from Brescia to Rome and back, now lives on as a regularity rally, keeping the flavour of its epic history intact. To protect this history, the 1000 Miglia Register was created, which certifies cars built before 31 December 1957 belonging to models that have taken part in at least one edition of the original race. These are the cars that can truly return to those roads with full rights.
