Tamplin is a British car brand founded in 1966 by former race car driver David Tamplin. The company originally produced kit cars and light commercial vehicles, with the kit cars being based on the Austin 7 chassis. From 1969 onwards, Tamplin also produced a series of four-wheel drive off-road vehicles. These vehicles were particularly popular with farmers and off-road enthusiasts, due to their robustness and versatility. Tamplin ceased production in the mid-1970s and the brand is now defunct.
