Company

Salmson is a French engineering company that was once an automobile and aeroplane manufacturer during the early 20th century. The company produced a number of lightweight race cars in the 1920s such as the 1924 Samlson Grand Sport L and later on switched on to passengers after the war. The Salmson 2300S was the last car produced by the company and it also competed in the1955, 1956 and 1957 Le Mans 24-hour races.
