Nissan is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, with Renault previously holding a larger voting stake in Nissan until an overhaul in January 2023. Nissan is the 9th largest automaker in the world with a revenue of $75 billion in 2022 and is the leading Japanese brand in China, Russia, and Mexico. Nissan is also the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, with the Nissan LEAF as their top-selling electric car.
