Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) is a sub-brand of the Japanese automotive manufacturer, Toyota, that is dedicated to motorsport and performance road cars. The brand was established in 2015, and it encompasses all of Toyota's motorsport activities, including its participation in various racing events and its development of high-performance road cars.
TGR competes in several high-profile racing events, including the FIA World Rally Championship, FIA World Endurance Championship, FIA World Rally-Raid Championship, British Touring Car Championship, and Nürburgring 24 Hours. TGR also operates a research and development facility, Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe, which is based in Cologne, Germany, with additional branches in the UK and Finland.
In addition to its motorsport activities, TGR produces a range of performance road cars under the GR (Gazoo Racing) brand. These include the GR Supra, a sports car developed in collaboration with BMW, the GR Yaris, a rally-inspired hot hatch, the GR86, a rear-wheel-drive sports car developed in partnership with Subaru, and the GR Corolla, a performance version of Toyota's popular Corolla hatchback.
