The Hybrid Judging experiment was tested successfully at Salon Prive
This article discusses the new form of judging car competitions called Hybrid Judging, introduced by the International Chief Judge Advisory Group (ICJAG) and Salon Privè. The process includes presenting cars to the judges present on-site, and connecting with the remote judges through a digital platform. Additionally, trained videographers record four to five two-minute videos of the entrant's vehicle which are transmitted to the remote judges. This allows the remote judges to have an accurate view of the car's exterior, interior, engine, and any forgotten elements. This Hybrid Judging system is an encouraging development, and could be reapplied at future events.07/10/2020

The Terre di Canossa Grand Prix, created ten years ago by Luigi Orlandini, is one of the few rallies that resumed activity this year despite the difficulties faced due to the pandemic. The event consisted of 650 kilometres over three days with 68 time trials and 6 average speed tests. The winners of the rally were Alberto Aliverti and Stefano Valente in a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Zagato, which prevailed over two different Porsche cars. Historics auction house held an event in Royal Ascot, instead of its traditional Brooklands venue, due to social distancing requirements. The event saw 135 cars sold out of 170, representing 79.4% of the lots, and a total of ÂŁ4,479,638 in sales. One of the most interesting lots was a Rover 75 Connoisseur SE V8, one of fewer than 900 produced, which sold for ÂŁ19,244. The top lot was a 1967 Aston Martin DB6 which sold for ÂŁ220,740, and the highest-performing lot was a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster which sold for ÂŁ70,184, a new world record for this model.
