Ferruccio Lamborghini, who never envisioned his Miura in a race, would have been excited to see the sprint of his magnificent cars, right to the podium of the most famous race of the Concours d’ Elegance.

Three superstars met on the podium, which combine the perfection of restoration and conservation with famous names and stories: the SV of FIA president Jean Todt, the P400 which belonged to the Shah of Persia and a second P400, well-known due to the film The Italian Job. Although the winners experienced quite different emotions at their prestigious parade during the prize-giving ceremony: for Jean Todt, it was a protagonist’s return at the same place, where he invited champions of various categories, for instance, Michael Schumacher. For John Shirley, a new laurel for a multi-victory collection and for Fritz Kaiser a fantastic prize for a car restored with passion and commitment in record time after having reconstructed the adventurous story of a movie star. From today on, the Kaiser collection is enriched with another model of recognized prestige.

This podium also enhances the Polo Storico Lamborghini with two cars out of three awarded, leaving the atelier of Sant’Agata Bolognese, where the famous collector Corrado Lopresto followed the restoration of the Miura of The Italian Job step by step and with meticulous attention.
