This model, created in 2013, was approved for road use even though its extreme characteristics make it seem more suited to the race track than normal roads. Its name speaks for itself: Veneno.

1 This car, like other Lamborghini models, was given a name chosen to commemorate a famous “corrida” fighting bull. Veneno, in Spanish, means "poison"

As regards its chassis and mechanical structure, the car is based on the Aventador. However, having an extra 50 HP, it offers far superior performance levels. In fact, delivering 750 HP at 8250 rpm, it has an amazing top speed of 355 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.  That year saw the production of just three customer Venenos, in the three colors of the Italian flag: green, white and red, plus a fourth one, painted silver, for the company’s museum collection.

2 The Veneno was developed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini in 2013

Lamborghini enthusiasts loved the powerful and seductive design produced by Filippo Perini and the team at the Centro Stile in Sant’Agata. Therefore, in 2014, the company decided to offer an open version of the model.

There thus followed nine customer Veneno Roadsters, which joined the three coupés. These 12 cars, once sold, quickly became coveted objects of desire in the car collector world. Their prices could potentially go sky high.

4 The car’s aerodynamics are carefully studied in every detail, with its numerous appendages serving to give it better road holding and stability. Even the rims have special conveyors to cool the carbon-ceramic braking system
