Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024: The Success Continues

Anticipating future trends is a gift possessed by few. When the young Lord March, now Duke of Richmond, organized the first Festival of Speed in 1993, only he could have envisioned the immense success this way of showcasing automobiles would achieve. The Festival of Speed that took place last weekend once again confirmed that car manufacturers go where the crowd and passion are. In the extraordinary noble estate of Charles March, amidst hillclimb exhibitions of modern and classic sports cars, a concours d'elegance, air shows, and celebrations, manufacturers were there with the cars to sell today.

The world has changed, at least in England, and it’s evident by the fact that among the celebrated brands was Red Bull Racing. Born just twenty years ago, it has already achieved 120 victories, 7 driver titles, and 6 constructor titles in Formula 1. Today, it is set to become a manufacturer itself, as from 2026 it will be powered by an internally built engine by Red Bull Powertrains in collaboration with Ford. At the Festival of Speed, the RB17, an extraordinary supercar designed by the genius Adrian Newey, was unveiled. Passion, sport, and the love of the automobile remain the best fuel for this market, which needs more passion creators like the admired English nobleman.
