Nash Motors was an American automobile manufacturer that operated from 1916 until it merged with Hudson Motors in 1954 to form American Motors Corporation (AMC). During its existence, Nash Motors introduced several innovations to the automobile industry, such as the first automobile heating and ventilation system in 1938, unibody construction in 1941, seat belts in 1950, and a compact car in 1950.
