I.DE.A Institute was an Italian automobile design and engineering company based in Turin. It was founded in 1978 and became known for its innovative designs and engineering solutions in the automotive industry. The company offered services such as styling, prototyping, and engineering to various automotive manufacturers worldwide.
In 2002, Rieter Holding Ltd, a Swiss industrial holding company, acquired full control of the company. However, in 2010, Rieter sold I.DE.A Institute to Quantum Kapital AG, a Swiss investment group.
Unfortunately, despite its successful history, I.DE.A Institute faced financial difficulties and was liquidated in 2019, resulting in the closure of the company.
