Hanomag, or Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG, was a German company that produced steam locomotives, tractors, trucks, military vehicles, and later automobiles and construction machinery. The company gained international recognition for delivering steam locomotives to several countries before World War I. In 1924, Hanomag produced its first tractor, followed by automobiles in 1925 and construction machinery in 1931. The company was acquired by Komatsu in 1989.
