1964 ATS 2500 GTS

The ATS 2500 GTS 1964 was a sports car that was designed and produced by Automobili Turismo e Sport (ATS) from 1963 to 1965. It was the only car produced by this Italian company before its closure in 1964. The ATS 2500 GTS 1964 was a lightweight high-performance car that was designed to compete with other sports cars of its time such as the Porsche 904, Ferrari Dino, and the Jaguar E-Type.

This car was powered by a 2.5 L V8 engine that was produced in-house by ATS. The engine was based on a Ferrari racing engine, but ATS made a few modifications to it, including the use of dry-sump lubrication and an eight-stack Weber carburetor system. The engine produced approximately 245 horsepower and it was paired with a five-speed ZF manual transmission.

One of the notable features of the ATS 2500 GTS 1964 was its advanced chassis design. The car had a tubular steel spaceframe that was designed by Carlo Chiti, who was a former Ferrari engineer.
