The Alfa Romeo TZ2 is a legendary race car that was produced between 1965 and 1967. This two-seater sports car was designed by Autodelta, a subsidiary of Alfa Romeo, to dominate endurance events such as the World Sportscar Championship and the Targa Florio. The design objective was to create a light and aerodynamic car that could handle and corner at high speeds. The TZ2 was powered by a high-revving 1.6-liter Alfa Romeo engine that produced 170 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful cars of its time.

The body of the TZ2 was made entirely of lightweight aluminum, making it one of the lightest race cars of the 1960s. The car had a long, low nose and a distinctive "Kamm tail" design at the rear, which helped to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve the car's handling. The transmission was a five-speed dog-leg gearbox that required the driver to flick the lever diagonally from neutral to first gear or reverse. The car also had a limited-slip differential, which helped to improve traction during acceleration.

The TZ2 is one of the most iconic sports cars of the 1960s and has inspired countless generations of car enthusiasts.
