Zoute Bis: Bonhams Plays It Safe
Half the estimate, a Miura S without reserve, and a Zagato that slipped away — Bonhams kept its Zoute 2026 exposure lean.

At Zoute, following Broad Arrow’s Friday sale, Bonhams held its traditional auction on Sunday 11 October. For the English house, the two editions shared a similar number of cars offered – 72 this year against 73 last year – and the same proportion of no-reserve lots: 29 in both cases, equal to roughly 40%.
The notable difference lies in the estimated value of the sale: over thirty million last year, under fifteen this year – to be precise, €14,995,000.
51 cars sold against 57 in 2025, meaning the sell-through rate fell from 78% to 71%. The average price dropped from €265,583 to €196,457, with a turnover of €10,019,332 against last year’s €15,138,225.
