Daytona - The Stage of Parade Finishes. And This Year?
From Ford vs Ferrari to Porsche and Alfa, Daytona’s legendary parade finishes set the stage for a dramatic 2026 24 Hours showdown.

For every racing enthusiast, the idea of a parade finish immediately brings to mind the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, when three Ford GT40s crossed the line side by side to demonstrate their supremacy and send a message to Ferrari and its founder, who had only a few years earlier refused to sell the company to Ford.
What better way for Ferrari to answer Ford than with a triumphant parade finish of three dominant Ferraris on the American manufacturer’s home turf-Daytona? The opportunity for the Prancing Horse’s revenge, sporting revenge of course, did not take long to arrive. Just a few months later, at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, the beautiful Ferrari P3/4, P3, and 412 P from Maranello swept across the finish line in the top three positions, side by side, on their way to winning the 1967 World Championship for Sports Prototypes.
