Best of the Best 2025: Paris honours Alfa Romeo and Arturo Keller
The Peninsula Classics Best of the Best 2025 crowned the 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B, honoring beauty, heritage, and Arturo Keller’s legacy.

Choosing the most beautiful among the beautiful has always been a difficult - and risky - task. The judges themselves experienced this when faced with cars so different that one might even question what beauty truly is. Between two extremes - the 1926 Rolls-Royce Phantom I, with its richly decorated Rococo-inspired interior, and the unique Ferrari F50 GT Competizione built in Maranello in 1996, still seemingly ready to leap back onto the track - the range of choice was extraordinarily wide.
The finalists spanned everything from the 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B, a pure-bred racing car, to the captivating Bentley Mark VI and Ferrari 375 MM of the 1950s, and on to the majestic 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Spezial Roadster and the equally imposing 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Roadster, which had already claimed Best of Show honours at Amelia Island.
