Among the world’s top 100 collectors, there are also three women who run and bring their collections to life: the American Anne Brockinton Lee, and two Italians, Monica Macaluso and Silvia Nicolis.

Today we’re talking about Silvia, because her story is truly beautiful. From a Veronese family – Verona being the city of Juliet and Romeo and home to the Arena di Verona, the temple of opera – she lost her father when she was still very young. He was a passionate collector of everything related to technology, cars included, of course. Faced with the risk that her father’s legacy – made up of cars, motorbikes, but also automata, photographic equipment, cinematography devices, and much more - might be dispersed through a sale, Silvia decided to devote her life to her father’s passion and to his memory.
