Inside the World’s Greatest Classic Car Collections – Part 2: Bruce Meyer

To introduce the world’s most important collections that make up The Classic Car Trust's (TCCT) The Key Top 100 Ranking, we decided to begin with a collector who perfectly embodies the spirit of those who truly love automobiles and want to experience them fully. That collector is Bruce Meyer, a Los Angeles–based American who spreads his remarkable collection between a discreetly hidden garage near Rodeo Drive and the magnificent Petersen Automotive Museum, which has dedicated an entire gallery to him, that he co-founded.

The beauty of Bruce Meyer’s approach to collecting lies in a simple principle: throughout his life, he has purchased only cars he found irresistible. No strategy, no speculation. Just raw passion. This philosophy has allowed him to assemble an extraordinary mix of refined Italian masterpieces, such as the Ferrari 625 Testa Rossa Sport bodied by Scaglietti, the rare aluminum-bodied Ferrari 250 SWB competition car, and the Iso Grifo A3/C by Bizzarrini.
