Gooding: A Brilliant Amelia Island
Gooding Amelia Island 2026 surpasses $70M, with standout Ferraris and a record-breaking 1932 Miller.

Last year, speaking about Gooding at Amelia Island, I observed that even though the auction had gone well, they might benefit from a period of rest — so that this year they could come back with full force. And so they did.
Over the two-day event (March 6–7) the number of cars dropped slightly, from 143 to 128, and the total offered also fell a little, from $74,635,000 in 2025 to $70,710,000 this year. Fewer cars does not mean lesser success, and the results confirm this: 117 cars sold against 128 the previous year, but with a rise in the sell-through rate, from an already excellent 89.51% to 91.40%.
The total hammer figure of $70,102,040 was up 10% from $64,549,460 — at the level of this location’s record — while the average price climbed from $504,292 to $599,163, with the proportion of no-reserve cars remaining almost identical: 61.5% down to 60.9%.
