The Italian writer Fabrizio Caramagna says: “I have seen many human beings wanting to be millionaires, but I have seen few millionaires wanting to be human.”

Forgive me for this rather direct, almost abrupt entrance into the world of collecting — but by now you have already understood what I wish to speak about. After the million-dollar auctions in America and across Europe, I allowed myself a moment of healthy passion: no six- or seven-figure numbers, only cars that each of us can not only dream of, but genuinely afford.
