Vaduz / St. Moritz, Sept 18th, 2021

An authentic record.Sold for 192,000 Swiss Francs (€175,000) at the RM Sotheby’s auction in St Moritz, the Pininfarina Leggenda Driving Simulator confirms the importance of the TCCT eClassic program for the world of collecting.

The success of the sale of the “Leggenda” classic car driving simulator made by Pininfarina for TCCT eClassic, which concluded well above the maximum estimate of the famous auction house RM Sotheby’s, is a clear demonstration that the world of great car collecting is more than ready to welcome ground-breaking innovation to their passion. Sold yesterday at the auction in St. Moritz for 192,000 Swiss Francs (over €175,000), after a battle between numerous bidders that led to a long applause after the auctioneer’s hammer sealed the final offer, it was the finest demonstration of the validity of an idea.

The driving simulators created by TCCT (The Classic Car Trust) with the two famous and historic Italian coachbuilders, Pininfarina and Zagato, in addition to the indisputable quality and elegance of rare collectibles, offer a world of experiences thanks to their underlying technology and applications that allow owners to become part of a community of enthusiasts with the same interests and objectives. The entire eClassic project, in fact, is designed and organized to introduce an extra dimension to the Classic car experience, thanks to the opportunities and services available to members of “The eClassic Club”. A return to the spirit of the “Scuderie” of the past, enhanced through the use of new technologies.

A Club that combines experiences and passion. Membership of “The eClassic Club” is the key to the entire eClassic program: members are connected to each other through an intuitive and feature-rich App, and in addition to driving some of the world’s most famous cars on legendary tracks and roads, can organize drives together, each from the comfort of their living room or garage, for pure pleasure or for genuine races organized with the support of the eClassic Academy. Members themselves will also have the possibility to contribute to the development of new ideas to meet their future expectations. eClassic creates the fourth dimension of Collecting. Membership of “The eClassic Club” is a new dimension of the passion for classic cars: Indeed, in addition to the pleasure of participating in events with their own real cars, collectors can now add the possibility to driving, whenever they want and with whoever they want, between one event and another without complications, costs and possible risks to their precious cars. An enjoyable activity that also increases driving expertise while respecting the environment in complete safety. The Tomorrow of History. With the eClassic program, TCCT reinforces its role of enhancing the passionate world of car collecting and opening it up to new generations. With eClassic, the founder and driving force behind the initiative, Fritz Kaiser, a collector himself, wants to give members the opportunity to put friends and family members behind the wheel of classic cars, sharing the passion for this world and spreading the message of culture and freedom that every classic car brings with it. For TCCT the tomorrow of passion begins today.
