A New Chapter in Alpine Racing Tradition: Experience the Virtual Bernina GT by Roaringon

Hill climbs have a long history in motorsport. The magnificent road leading to the Bernina Pass is one of the most traditional Alpine driving training grounds, and every September, Bernina Gran Turismo renews the experience by welcoming classic racing cars from every era. There are two classifications: speed and grand touring. All this will take place just a few kilometers from magical St. Moritz between Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st. We'll provide all the details next Sunday.

Bernina GT by Roaringon - 1
The Virtual Bernina GT by Roarington offers the opportunity to drive on simulators designed by Pininfarina and Zagato at the St. Moritz village square.

But there's something very interesting to know right away, and why not, do: at the luxurious and famous Kulm Country Club in St. Moritz, Roarington simulators will be used by the drivers on Friday the 19th for race training. This allows them to get to know the track in advance, identify critical sections, and build confidence — all while reducing lap times without any risk or CO₂ emissions. They will then be ready for the __public__ on __Saturday the 20th__ and __Sunday the 21st__ at the St. Moritz village square. An instructor will explain how to drive on the racetrack. Once you enter a Pininfarina "Sportiva" or a Zagato "Elio Z", you'll be able to drive just like the real drivers on the racetrack. Participation is free and requires only a commentary on your experience at the end of the driving session. In the meantime, to understand how and in what conditions the cars will be driven, watch and rewatch our video with commentary by driver Ronnie Kessel. Studying the curves of the road to the Bernina Pass is very useful, and you'll notice this while driving once you've got your hands on the classic wooden steering wheel of the most fascinating classic cars.
