Women Prefer Classics
From Kendall Jenner’s 1957 Corvette to Lady Gaga’s Lincoln Continental, a new generation of women is redefining what it means to love classic cars.

More and more women are falling for classic cars. Among them are figures from entertainment and fashion who are helping to dismantle the assumption that certain passions should be reserved for the opposite sex. On the contrary, femininity transforms objects of memory into partners that bring originality and character to those behind the wheel. Some love to drive them, some restore them by hand, and some choose them for their timeless design. Kendall Jenner, Sydney Sweeney, Jodie Kidd, and Lady Gaga represent four distinct ways of living the allure of the classic automobile – let’s take a look inside their garages.
Kendall Jenner
American supermodel Kendall Jenner has never concealed her passion for classic cars. From childhood she grew up around motocross bikes and quad bikes before graduating to proper automobiles. Her garage is the envy of many, housing some of the most iconic American convertibles of the 1950s and ’60s: a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette C1, and a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible, alongside a 1990s Porsche 911 (993). Her cars appear regularly on social media and featured in an episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, where Jenner spoke about how much she enjoys driving through the streets of Los Angeles. Her ease with cars of such character has helped draw a new generation into the world of historic automobiles, demonstrating that a classic can be used and lived with every day.
