Women today are no different than they were in the past. We have seen how the automobile, in all fields, has demonstrated that there are no barriers between the sexes, so it comes as no surprise that the captain of an aeroplane or a ship is a woman, just as it comes as no surprise that Monisha Kaltenborn and Claire Williams were Team Principals of Formula 1 teams.

Claire Williams was Team Principal of the Scuderia founded by her father Frank from 2013 to 2020.

In fact, Formula 1, where excellence is a must if you want to win, has an ever-growing number of female figures among its protagonists: this is true in communications, where press officers are in the majority, as well as in activities that have historically been seen as masculine. This is the case for the many women who work on the cars with the same status and expertise as the traditional mechanics. So far, we have talked about equality. But if inequality were to indicate female superiority over male colleagues, how would we deal with it? Hannah Schmitz is the strategist for Red Bull, Verstappen, to be clear, who has complete faith in her and whose race decisions are in her hands, while the Racing Bulls team has the talented Alessandra Ciliberti in the role of Engineering Operation & Performance Project Manager.
